Strange are the rules of fashion. To make the most conspicuous feature of your face (and undoubtedly, they are your wonderful eyes) inconspicuous you need the most stylist eyewear. My personal opinion is, eyewear makes the most beautiful face ugly and the unattractive face lights up with the touch of the eyewear. Whether you agree with me or not over the importance of eyewear in changing your countenance but on one point, you will not differ from me when you see the Cassius brand of eyewear – the collection is awesome! Not quite the avant-garde style but nonetheless, the brand from New Zealand has a vintage touch. The sharp lines, monochrome colors, classic silhouette of the frame are handmade from Italian zyl acetate. The lens with UV 400 rating is a safe way of protecting your eyes from being dazzled by the strong sunlight.

If you are looking for a portable device that gives you music when you are on the run, then the Grandmax Music Band-It is the right thing for you. A gray border sewn onto the black body surrounds the clear face. Instead of an open top to insert the iPod, it has a closed top and a horizontal slit in the back. This sleek armband comes in versions of iPhones, iPods and has built-in ear buds and attachable silicone in-ear adapters along with a retractable cord that gives the user as much length they need. Thus, the whole system gives away uninterrupted music to the user while they run, walk or go for a trek. The enclosure for the iPhone or iPod itself has a clear panel that protects this device from scratches. Hence for all these facilities, this item is truly worth the money for $29.95.

You might have tried various alternatives to the soft cushioned pillow of your bed, especially if circumstances force you to slumber away from your bedroom. You might have tried books as pillow, folded blankets as pillow, bags as pillow and in the absence of anything your own hands as the pillow. But have you ever tried your laptop as the pillow? I understand that it is too hard for a comfortable nap. However, if not the laptop then your laptop tucked in the case designed by the Icelandic designer Hafsteinn Juliusson can serve as your pillow. The Napbook laptop case is well padded to give the soft fluffy sensation of the cushion. This is simply an innovative way of resting your tired head.

A red carpet welcome is meant for the royal. I feel that Anne Hathaway, the Rachael Getting Married star, aptly dressed in a splendid gown from none other than the fashion-creator, Versace, might have got a welcome befitting a princess, when she gracefully walked over the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival. Anne Hathaway, in the flowy grey garment with floral extravagance and accessorized with a golden necklace, golden clutch and a pair of very elegant Christian Louboutin stiletto heels; looks an epitome of aristocracy.

I think long big eyelashes and the royal women have a special bond with each other. Have you noticed how ancient Egyptian queens, or even Cleopatra, used to decorate her eyes with kohl? That dark and thick coating of kohl was used to highlight the eyes. And now, Princess Eugenie was seen with a similar eye make-up. Oops! It’s not make-up, it’s the fake eyelashes. But I think it’s meant to look ‘ultra-fake’, the bright pink color.

Recently, she was seen with these surprisingly fancy eyelashes, while attending a late night dinner party. The modern-age fashion-freak women don’t hesitate to spend more than enough on eyelashes. And it is more so in case of the British women. To respect this trend, Shu Uemura, the international beauty brand has launched a collection of eight eyelashes including one encrusted with Swarovski crystals. Wow!

I guess, that must not be as attractive as these pink eyelashes of Princess Eugenie.

Budding rockstars and performers would know what it is like to peer into a laptop to monitor the audio/visual parameters while on stage. It not only looks uncool but also is stupid enough to distract the audience to something that is undesirable. If you had been wondering if someone could develop a wearable M-Audio equipment for MIDI purposes, Vince Veneziani already has. Like Rucyl Mills, Vince has a taste for music and to mod an equipment to facilitate performing on stage. Needless to say, anything that is wearable on stage has to have the bling factor or at least something that looks striking. So Vince used black leather and snakeskin to create the wearable M-Audio equipment. You could dance, run around and perform without looking uncool, as the elektro-07 not only helps your performance technologically, but also makes you look cool, in a tatty sort of way.

Rosy lips and rosy cheeks are always admired as the symbol of beauty by poets and artists. It would not be an exaggeration if we say that it is the most feminine of all the colors. Rose is a blended shade of red, pink and magenta. This is something very special and unique to look at. Rose color is associated with delicacy, softness, purity and calmness. These are the attributes that best describe a perfect woman with all her dignity and beauty. Then why not adorn yourself with this vibrant hue? Let’s have a look at these beautiful fashion wears by designer Mina Heng. These are all made with wispy and netted fabrics. Not only the costumes but the facial make-up is also brilliant with rosy shades. Isn’t that magnificent? Celebrate the season of beauty!

With the digital world infringing our private space, interactive fashion has become our latest style statement. Tucked underneath nearly every apparel is a gizmo that reduces the burden of our hands and shoulders making the ubiquitous bags somewhat redundant. Celio, Marks & Spencer and Bagir have already launched their version of interactive fashion men’s wear. The Italian outdoor specialist Bailo is the latest designer to jump on the interactive fashion bandwagon with its BTR Rocket jacket. With the QIO System’s advanced textile interface integrated with the lightweight running jacket made of highly breathable and flexible Gore-Tex Paclite fabric, the wearer could tuck inside the jacket the iPod controller, Bluetooth module, AM/FM radio or Walkie-Talkie. However, you have to wait until spring 2009 to get hold of the real thing.

Here is an interesting way to spice up the awkward moment, where you’ve crossed the threshold and need to gear up for the action. To the point of being kinky, the Rubber for Lover condom case, fashioned as a gun, adds a dash of excitement to what could be a described as a tense-time. A playful toy that dispenses the condom also ensures that it doesn’t lose its effectiveness as a protection. It seems that a condom may lose its effectiveness due to heat. A sweet and passionate gun for the big BANG!

It is better to be impractical at times! Because there is enough scope for experimenting with diversity, just like this new collection by Marcel Ostertag. Inspired by the Vogue-trend of 1970s, Ostertag recreates the mood with his unique touch. But what makes it special is the motto that says ‘let’s break the bondage of practicality’. This collection is devoted to the gorgeous ladies of 21st century. Though we can find numerous varieties of colors and fabrics, the layered pattern is still present in almost all the dresses. While some are completely layered from top to bottom, some have it just to highlight a particular portion. These are the dazzling outfits for a stunning look.

Those of us who love the good old tea parties don’t need to be reminded that tea parties are not only about having tea. Or for that matter, munching on exotic biscuits, warm croissants, finger-licking cakes, appetizing sandwiches, and topping it all with free-flowing conversations, though heavenly, are not enough either. You got to add a bit of style to it all.

And these vintage tea gloves do exactly that. They would complement your exotic tea-set and add a new class to the whole party. They are dainty, elegant, and awesomely sophisticated. They would not only make the hostess proud of herself, but the guests would also be proud to be a part of such a classy affair.

I love all of them. But if I am insisted to choose one, I would say the dotted one with white frills is a class apart. The black bow goes great with each and every type.
