Ageing gracefully has acquired a new meaning all together and dressing appropriate to your age counts a lot, it seems.
A recent poll conducted on 2,500 women has revealed that they are not comfortable carrying mini skirts after the age of 28. Women participating in the poll believe that mini skirts should not be worn beyond 28 years of age.
The ban is just not limited to mini skirts. The women also suggested that bikinis should be dumped at 48 and boob tubes at 33. The participants agreed that belly-button piercing should not be carried beyond 35 years. Long hairs too add to your maturing looks. The poll revealed that most women believe that long locks should be chopped off at 52.
On one hand where women chose to age with a lot of sophistication, men, it seems have no hassles graying disgracefully.
The poll in which participation was restricted to men only revealed that men love wearing their jeans till the ripe age of 64. However, the hooded top can only be worn till the age of 39.
Men were of the opinion that tracksuit trousers should be replaced with something more conservative at 44 and even football supporters should put off their team shirt at 53.
The poll was conducted by Golden Square Shopping Centre in Warrington, Cheshire.
