Upcoming designer Christopher Kane is a new name in the fashion industry but at the young age and in a short time span he has done a wondrous job in his field.

Not only he launched his own label last year but his edgy and innovative designs earned him comparisons with John Galliano and Alexander McQueen.

His first ready to wear collection sold out within days of its launch and Kane ’s collection for Topshop was also a hot cake at the high street store.

Currently he is the design consultant for Donatella Versace and has plans to show his 2008 collection with other well known houses including Burberry, Yves Saint Laurent and Chanel at the Swarovski-sponsored charity event that will be held at London’s Royal Albert Hall on October 18 this year. The charity show is a blend of fashion and music that is held in support of the Prince’s Trust Prince Charles’ youth charity.

On showcasing his new collection at the forthcoming charity show the designer said:

I am still in shock that I am actually doing this, as it has only been a year since I launched my own label.

Hollywood’s actor Samuel L. Jackson will host Swarovski Fashion Rocks for The Prince’s Trust 2007. The live spectacular event unites the world’s leading fashion and music talent will return to Royal Albert Hall on 18th October 2007.

It is expected that this year’s show will be bigger and better than ever as designers such as Armani, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Stella McCartney, Valentino, Versace and Yves Saint Laurent will team up with some of the world’s top music talents.
