One of the hottest designers in the fashion world - Christopher Kane has designed 100 umbrellas in collaboration with the Vauxhall VX Collective. Vauxhall VX Collective is known for its initiative to sponsor British talent from the worlds of fashion and film to produce one-off designs.
Kane was quoted saying,
I love umbrellas and wanted to design something beautiful but still functional for people to use daily. The design comes from a dream I had- raining diamonds.
The lovely umbrellas feature a crystal motif on a transparent canopy. Kane said that it was a pleasure collaborating with Vauxhall and he is hoping that his fans appreciate the collection.
The Scottish designer is famous for capsule collections that always become instantenous hits. He is considered at par with ace designers John Galliano and Alexander Mc Queen for his cutting great designs. His collection at London Fashion Week this year was highly appreciated by fashion critics and was considered to be the best. His clothes, which are only being stocked by Browns this season, have become the most sought-after garments from London Fashion Week. His range for TopShop flew off in just minutes.
