The controversy creators of London have scored again with Camilla Parker Bowles, the Duchess of Cornwall. According to the image above, she was seen to have a Golliwog doll as a toy charm on her Burberry Bag. This Doll, which was quite popular in the 1950’s, is famous for making people uneasy about the attitudes the Golliwog represented. The production of the doll was stopped in the 1980’s and since then, the Golliwog has been seen as racial discrimination. That the Duchess carrying it should become a controversy is absolute nonsense but nevertheless, she should have been more careful, considering her public standing.
