Women and shoes- the love story is almost as magical as the one we have with diamonds and bags! I have, in the two decades of my existence, never met a woman who owned less than 20 pairs of shoes at a time or who wasn’t ready to sell an arm for a truly one-of-a-kind exotic shoe. I don’t quite know how to explain the phenomenon but I can certainly tell you that ladies look at shoes as a manifestation of their own inner selves. Which is why we love to hoard dozens and dozens of pretty shoes in our closets. This year our beloved designers have given us even more reasons to go on a freak diet and save up a lot of cash to spend on some truly gorgeous footwear. Fashion gurus like Christian Lacroix, Dior, Emporio Armani, Valentino, Kenzo and Emilio Pucci have interpreted the look for spring/summer 2008 as being one that belongs to the truly exotic. Inspired by the rich colors and textures of Africa, Asia and the Americas, the roman style flat strappy sandals are a must have for fashionistas this season. But of course, since a good pair of pumps never go out of style we recommend you get a few of those to go with your killer party outfits as well.

OMG, the pairs are really worthy of appreciation. Didn’t quite like the red one though. The black ones work fine but the one with a feather is amazingly chic. Am not quite sure about the heels. They look a bit uncomfortable!
You are absolutely correct! I may not have that many days to wear my collection but just possesing the best of the footwear is my passion too. here the pink one with a feather made me go weak in my knees :)
