The Rome Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2008 gave me another reason to believe that a fashion show is not just a gathering of designers displaying their collection and vying for attention. Fashion shows are much more than that; the same was evident in Italian designer Gattinoni’s collection which was nothing less than a cosmic journey. A journey revealing the various colors and hues of fashion; a journey extending well beyond the parameters of a fashion show.
Gattinoni’s show presented a diverse collection. Some of the creations displayed shades of Eastern influence while some exuded the crisp European style, but each ensemble was complemented with either a stunning hair-do, or with an equally stunning headgear. All in all Gattinoni’s show was a delight for everyone who witnessed the event. Check the gallery to witness the magic of this Italian designer.
