HBO’s newly set up retail shop near Bryant Park at 1100 Avenue of the Americas at 42nd street is the place to be for all the Sex and City fans.
The HBO Shop is offering unique merchandise based on HBO’s most popular shows, specially Sex and the City. Items on sale include a line of handbags inspired by the women of Sex and the City, Sex and the City Perfume, limited edition SATC pink zip up hoodie sweatshirts, SATC martini glasses, SATC books, complete season DVD’s, the pink stiletto that Carrie wore on her last date with Mr. Big before he left New York for San Francisco, her signature Chanel clutch purse, and almost everything that a SATC fan could ever want to own.
First make people addicted to a show and then follow with its merchandise. Good marketing tactics, I must say.
