Dainty delicate jewelry can take a hike, because chunky is here to stay and nothing could have impersonated the trend more vividly than the debut fine jewelry collection by designer Maison Martin Margiela. Created in partnership with Italy’s Damiani Group, the supersized collection includes pieces in gold, silver and diamond Jewellery with bits like necklaces composed of giant oval links, a pierced earring magnified to become a chunky ring and a signet ring upsized to bracelet proportions taking the cake. Set to make a grand public debut in November, prices on the 14-piece collection range from 700 to just under 40,000 Euros ($1,100 to $61,800), which given their gi-normous appeal doesn’t surprise us even a single bit!
