With changing times fashion has added a lot to sports. And when it comes to one of the most extravagant sport, tennis remains the first choice of renowned labels like Nike, Addidas and others to show their own excellence. This time Nike is going to add glitter to Russian tennis player, Maria Sharapova by designing dresses customized with crystals.

In the forthcoming US Open she will be donned in especially designed sparkling Swarovski crystals dresses by Nike. She is the defending champion and will play Roberta Vinci in the first round of 2007 US Open.

The marvelous dresses are a creation of Nike’s head of global tennis apparel, Gill Brown. For choosing Maria to be clothed in the special outifit he said:

Maria is dedicated to tennis and shows the same amount of passion for her apparel - a real perfectionist.

She has also been in news recently when her ex-boyfriend Maroon 5 lead singer, Adam Levine disclosed their love-making moments and cited her ‘lack of grunts’ in the bed. He said:

She wouldn’t make anynoise during sex... She just lay there like a dead frog. She even got angry if I started to moan, said it ‘ruined her concentration’.
