Martin Margiela is known for his funny designs. He creates designs for arts sake and that’s what is interesting about his collections. Designers like Marc Jacobs are his fans. He managed to put up a nice show at Paris Fashion Week. His collection was simply cute. The collection portrayed a minimal look and ultra short dresses made big on the ramp. If you look carefully the whole collection was simply against the fashion forecasts for the season.
Black and other morbid colors were present everywhere and splashes of white made their presence here and there. Solid colors were present and prints and patterns were not present in big amount. Angles were exaggerated and long legwarmers were a common sight. The whole collection was pretty body conscious. Bandeau tops were to be found paired with almost everything and tattered denims also made a part. The idea of the collection was pretty lucrative but the clothes in actual were unwearable, until someone knows how to manage ultra short dresses without revealing your innerwear. Nonetheless, I loved the color palette!
