Milan Fashion Week kick started with a band of glamorous models sashaying down the ramp. Fleshy models replacing wafer thin models, was one visible diffeence.
The opening catwalk show by Italian designer Elena Miro featured clothes for the fuller-figured modeled by voluptuous models.
As the skinny model debate continues, Miro used size 14- 16 for her collection for Spring summer 2007.
Models including 20 year old Valentina Mezzetti, displayed busts, hips and bottoms abundantly with a lot of confidence, following the BMI dispute in the fashion world.
