While we did not need any reiteration about the importance of mother’s milk for children, using the human milk as a jewel for the necklace has been unheard of. Advancement in technology has made it possible to solidify milk into plastic-like beads and with no dearth of creative people on this planet, a French design team is considering using the solidified human milk as a jewelry piece. The Perle de Lait range of jewelry designed by Duende will exhibit human milk necklace in the forthcoming art exhibition this September at La Cuisine in Negrepelisse, France. It will be based on the concept of sharing food between mother and child. The other objects on display will be containers for burying placenta and if you still have an appetite for weirder stuff, there will be showcasing of tableware for the ritual of eating the placenta.
