I guess even God is allowed to be wrong at times. Because I have no other way of explaining the new Fall/Winter 2008 Shoes Line from Prada! With all due respect I understand that even the bigwigs of fashion can get bored with making elegant pieces all the time and they need to let down their hair every once in a while, but this… This is just way too disappointing especially when I consider the ruffles placed on the heel will make any normal sized woman (read: non-emaciated)look like she’s been hogging down tones of ice-cream all year long and every ounce of fat in her body has settled down in her ankles! Bad move Prada. It’s a good thing that they are trying to bring back the chunky heel big time, but not at the cost of young women’s self esteem and health I say! Apart from the sleek, foot hugging brown boot, I really can’t say that I’m impressed with this collection. Let’s just hope the Guccis and the Jimmy Choos redeem the fashion year for us!
