The 12th Annual Screen Actors Guild award was swept with all the participants flaunting the purple shade. It was an event that housed not only the paparazzi but also the glitterati and the literati.



Amidst the happening black and white, it was just purple and purple which almost blinded the eyes. This trend was trademarked with three of the “Desperate Housewives” stars including Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman and Eva Longoria sporting sexy purplish outfits.



This happening trend was even more heightened with last year’s winner for best ensemble delivery Ludacris who just hogged the limelight with a combination of purple handkerchief and tie.



Other notable follower of this shade was the fourth actress from Desperate Housewives Brenda Strong. Where as Reese Witherspoon after her chanel disaster at the golden Globes kept herself very simple by adorning a charming white sheath with thin black trim.
