Being the protagonist of the irrepressibly charming Gossip Girl series, you’d think actress Blake Lively would have an easy life, what with all the glamour and the fame and the money she is constantly being showered with. But fame comes at a price, and if you are a celebrity looking for ways to maintain a healthy PR, it generally means you have to pose in quite a few uncomfortable dresses and killer shoes every once in a while. And though the routine in sort of a given in tinsel town, I don’t thing the petite actress could have prepared herself for what was in store for her at the recent Vanity fair shoot during spring/summer 2008 Fashion Week in Paris. The charismatic diva was required to pose, and look happy, in a 33-pound Christian Dior gown in yellow satin, Swarovski detailing and over 6,000 sequins handstitched in real gold thread. Boy, that must have been one tiring day for Lively!

Why do they have to spend so much for a dress like this? It can be perfectly termed as a fashion catastrophe! The color is so loud and cheap. And to top it, the Swarovski crystals shining bright on a color like this. Yikes!
