If red-carpet was firmament then safe it is to say that it was set ablaze with stars and stardust dawned upon us with international beauties trotting around in the poshest of labels and couture clothing. Amidst all the dressing, what stood out the most was some major cosmetic developments in the world of fashion. Number one is that retro is out! With the exception of Katherine Heigl who was smitten by the scarlet fever as far as lips are concerned everyone from Penelope Cruz to Cameron Diaz, Renee Zellweger to Hillary Swank sported glossy nude shades on their lips. Pink flesh also remained a favorite amongst Anne Hathaway and Nicole Kidman.
Number two was tresses, pokes are apparently out. These lasses were sporting everything from locks off to the side to curls, Jennifer Garner, Jennifer Hudson, Nicole Kidman and Marion Cotillard to name a few.
Number three were dramatic eyes! Oh the love to for eye magic - it is ascertained that eyes talk more than the tongue especially in the world of glamor! Penelope Cruz to Hillary Swank, the foxy eyes were something watch out for.
All in all some major conventions were overthrown that had been ruling the roost for sometime now but as they say, new endings only mean new beginnings.
