Here are some more tips for a good ponytail:
Hair accessories like chopsticks can give you an Asian look. A scarf around the base of your ponytail made into a bow gives an innocent look. A flexible string of colorful beads can be woven in your ponytail.
If you have a round face, your ponytail should be low in the back and tight on the sides with lift at the crown. This will lengthen your face. People with thin or long faces may sport a loose ponytail to soften and give more width to the sides. Oval faced people can sport either a high or a low ponytail with a side or middle part can work. Hair mat be pulled out from sides to create a wispy, soft look.
