When it comes to swimwear, the mantra “less is more” rings truer than any of the other experiments we keep on seeing from time to time. And the Three as Four bikini jersey from the YOOX Spring/Summer collection truly epitomizes why. Even though the garment itself looks great as a runway item, we just cannot help but notice how it makes the bust line look uneven which unless you intentionally want to have that effect, isn’t such a great thing.
Featuring a stretch triangle cup bra with rear hook-and-eye closure, the 64% Polyamid, 36% Elastane construction of the bikini doesn’t do anything for the design and the “trendy” rip in the bikini bottom seems to upset the balance of the ensemble as a whole. I will still recommend this piece as a nice late night pool party item, but the £182 price tag and the fact that it is sure to leave some every unflattering tan lines in all the wrong places should certainly be enough to dissuade you from donning it for a day in the sun!
