Miss USA Tara Conner who has been criticized for underage drinking and wild lifestyle was given a second chance yesterday by Donald Trump. It was gossiped that she has been booted out from the Trump Place apartment. But now it’s officially confirmed that Miss USA is allowed to keep her title.
Donald Trump, Co-owner of the Miss Universe Organization with NBC, at a press conference in New York on Tuesday announced,
I’ve always been a believer in second chances. Tara is good person. Tara has tried hard. Tara is going to be given a second chance.
Donald also announced that Conner agreed to enter rehab and undergo drug testing. The former Miss Kentucky USA turned 21 on Monday. Conner faced criticism for partying at bars and nightclubs where the legal drinking age is 21.
Speaking at conference, Conner, exploded in tears said,
In no way did I think it would be possible for a second chance to be given to me.
She apologized to Trump saying, ‘You’ll never know what this means to me, and I swear I will not let you down.’
Trump discussed Conner’s behavior with PEOPLE on Monday night, saying, ‘It is a painful subject, and I am not at all happy about the situation. If it was at all possible, I wanted to protect Tara at what I know is a tough time for her.’

I think it’ awful that Tara can break the law and keep her crown when Vanessa Williams didn’t break any laws and lost her crown. Is that hypocritical or what?
