Naomi Campbell has turned philanthropic. The supermodel and singer is all set to have a fashion show in London with some other renowned celebrity mates to raise money. The raised money will be for the victims of this summer’s floods in the UK.
The fashion show titled ‘Fashion for Relief’ will be presented at the finale of London Fashion Week, due next week. Naomi’s friends Yasmin Le Bon, Elle Macpherson and Jodie Kidd arrived in London to help launch the plans wearing Burberry T-shirts, which later were sold for raising money for the cause.
Campbell has roped in Kate Moss for designing the event’s clothes. After the launch she said in an interview:
I kidnapped Kate. She’s going to be a designer. She doesn’t really like to do the shows... it will be Kate Moss the designer. We wanted to do something to help all those affected by the terrible UK floods, our way.
The fashion show will take place at the Natural History Museum in central London on September 20. The amount collected by the fashion show will go to the Rotary Flood Disaster Appeal to help the people in the affected areas. Front row tickets for the special show will be sold for £750.
